In accordance with current legislation Studybuddy handles personal data which as of May 25, 2018 includes the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR. As a current employed study coach, personal information is handled. Personal information which is handled are in the form of name, address, social security number, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, applied position, availability, salary history, account information, notes and summary of interviews, and submitted material including cover letter, resume, other qualifications, and certificate of education.

Personal data are handled to administer and fulfill the contract with the employee as employer, as well as to maintain a communication relevant to the position in question.

Process of personal data is necessary to meet your and our interest in fulfilling and managing your employment as well as providing relevant information related to the position. The contract provides a legal basis for us to save your personal information.

Personal data is stored during and for three (3) years after employment or until legal obligation to retain the data is no longer valid. For example, there is an obligation to save all information used for accounting and auditing purposes for at least seven (7) years according to the Accounting Act.

Previously employed - Study coach

As a previously employed study coach, personal information was handled. Personal information which were handled were in the form of name, address, social security number, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, applied position, availability, salary history, account information, notes and summary of interviews, and submitted material including cover letter, resume, other qualifications, and certificate of education.

Personal data are handled to maintain communication after termination of contract, provide relevant information to the former employee, and to comply with the legal obligations imposed.

Process of personal data is necessary to meet your and our interest to maintain communication after terminated contract. Legitimate interests together with legal requirements provides a legal basis for us to save your personal information.

Storage of personal data takes place for three (3) years after termination of employment or until legal obligation to retain the data is no longer valid. Minors and our services

By providing personal information to Studybuddy, you agree that we process your personal information. You also ensure that you are 18 years of age or older, or you have parent’s or guardian's consent that we process your personal information.
